History

The Foliage Sertoma Club was formed and chartered in June 1974 with about 35 members.  The club has produced many Gold Coat presidents, including four distinguished presidents,  as well as five district governors, including one who served two terms.

Among those who started the Foliage Sertoma Club were Mayor John Land, W.R. "Mac" McGuffin newspaper publisher, Bob Smith, Arlen "Cosmos" Mizell and Tom Collins.  These men are still active with the exception of Tom Collins, who is now deceased.
