"Mac" McGuffin Sertoma International is a 501(c)4 not-for-profit civic organization with 20,000-plus members in more than 650 clubs across Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States. History The Foliage Sertoma Club was formed and chartered in June 1974 with about 35 members. The club has produced many Gold Coat presidents, including four distinguished presidents, as well as five district governors, including one who served two terms. Among those who started the Foliage Sertoma Club were Mayor John Land, W.R. "Mac" McGuffin newspaper publisher, Bob Smith, Arlen "Cosmos" Mizell and Tom Collins. These men are still active with the exception of Tom Collins, who is now deceased. Today
Foliage Sertomans currently lend a hand where ever help is needed in our community. Our Mission: Sertoma exists for the high and noble purpose of SERVICE TO MANKIND by communication of thoughts, ideas and concepts to accelerate human progress in health, education, freedom and democracy. Members of
